Another day, another Saturday, the weekend... Yet it's supposed to be different! Different because thirty eight years ago, a woman delivered, a child came to this world, the stars looked down and decided it was not star material and looked away!
The delivery was uneventful, it was a girl!
Thirty eight years ago, the woman who was thirty one then, was not going to be at her daughter's thirty-eighth birthday!
To all the motherless children of this world, to all the star-less souls, to immortality -because immortality is the new mother...

Always...
The ending hours of the day, just right before the sizzling summer sun settles into the mountains... The glare is almost unbearable through the bedroom window and everything that orange sunlight touches, lights up.
I consider the summer to be the season for the rich people. The city is unbearable in the blazing sun and it is only at this hour, the rest of us, exhausted by the heat of the day are just waiting for the mountain to devour the "enemy" so we can cease the battle, even if it's just for a few hours.
Always the ending hours of the day... a long, hot summer day, a miracle we survive it, one day at a time... always!

Blue
It is the first of the month, a good omen and a good day to start someone's blog, even if it was not planned that way.
Blue is my color personality, that's why I'm naming my first article that. It's a good color blue! It's also like a "double-face" jacket: blue for the ups and blue for the downs... Blue like the sea, calming, relaxing, mysterious... And blue like the Delta blues, concerned, sad and melancholic...
We'll take it one day at a time...
Meantime, I will be coming up with more "blue" ideas and posts soon. I promise that I will do my best to keep the blog as interesting as I can.
